Lilac by Eno & Hyde

“After reading Sasha Frere-Jones's recent New Yorker piece on Brian Eno http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2014/07/07/ambient-genius?currentPage=all) , it was great to give this track a listen and hear within it a lot of the same spirit that Eno brought to his collaborations with David Byrne back in the 80s. Really solid stuff.”

Been giving this album a spin tonight while i tidied up my laptop and burned a few discs. The first album they did this year was incredible, really great stuff. The new album is mind blowing. Eno is a wizard, Hyde is a perfect collaborator. Adds so much. I've uploaded this one as it's not on Spotify.

I wanted to post 'Cells & Bells' (my fave track from High Life) but i ended finding Lilac, which is also pretty good.   1

I listened to this while trying to negotiate the weigh & save section of Lidl, and it helped me through this confusing time.   1
